Thus, as the Inquirer reports, the starting price of the iPhone X, according to leaks, will be $999 for the 64 GB memory capacity, $1099 for the 256 GB model and $1119 for the 512 GB model. For comparison, the starting price of its predecessor, the iPhone 7 Plus, was $769.

The new product will be equipped with the latest iOS 11 operating system and is expected to receive a new voice for Siri. Fast Company sources also report that the new product will be equipped with a 3D laser system for more precise camera focusing and even greater depth in applications with so-called augmented reality (augmented reality).

The 9to5Mac portal, in turn, reports that the iPhone 8 will be equipped with a new Animoji function, which, thanks to 3D facial recognition sensors, will be able to animate emoji by giving them facial expressions and even the sender’s voice.

Questions remain as to when buyers will be able to get their hands on the new product. It is expected that pre-orders for the new smartphone will be accepted within a few days after the presentation, however, as Business Insider writes, actual deliveries may be delayed due to technical difficulties with their production and it will be possible to receive the new product no earlier than the fourth quarter of 2017 or even later. in 2018.

Apple Watch: independence and clarity

The main novelty in the Apple Watch smartwatch segment is expected to be the ability to “break away” from your smartphone.

It is assumed that the Apple Watch Series 3 will be released in two versions - with or without the function of independently connecting to a wireless network thanks to the built-in 4G LTE chip. The presence of the ability to independently connect to the Internet in the watch will be indicated by a red dot on the circular wheel (digital crown).

The Home button will be a thing of the past - expect a dedicated "command" area at the bottom of the screen, similar to the one that has long been present in Android.

The back of the device (again, judging by rumors and leaks) will be glass, much like the iPhone 4. This will allow you to charge the phone wirelessly - using contact induction charging. Similar technology is already used in the Apple Watch.

The phone may also lose the TouchID fingerprint sensor, which has already become a common way to unlock the device. Conflicting rumors for many months have been either that TouchID will work from under the screen or that the sensor will move to the back of the device. Judging by the latest news, the iPhone X will lose fingerprinting altogether, but will begin to recognize its owner by sight.

It is assumed that in addition to the usual front camera, the new iPhone will have a set of sensors on the front with which it will be able to obtain a three-dimensional image of the face.

This will not only prevent you from deceiving the gadget by holding a photo to it. Judging by data obtained from the iOS 11 code, iPhone X owners will be able to send animated emoji to their friends: you smile at the camera, and the cat, robot or other character on the icon also smiles. You wink and they wink.

In total, we have: a device that is only slightly larger in size than the iPhone 7, but with a huge screen - almost like the 7 Plus. Let's add here inductive charging, two main cameras for landscape and portrait shooting and a set of sensors for entertainment with facial expression capture. Well, it's a great toy.

The cost of all this pleasure, according to the most conservative forecasts, will be from 999 to 1300 dollars, depending on the amount of flash memory. Will anyone pay such a substantial amount to play with new technologies a year earlier? Of course it will happen, what doubts there may be!

iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus

Contrary to everyone's expectations, the number eight name will most likely go to those models that, logically, should have been called iPhone 7s and 7s Plus. This data was again obtained from the leaked iOS 11 GM. But there are almost no other details about these two devices.

There is no doubt that the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus will receive a new fast A11 processor with a more advanced graphics accelerator, as well as improved cameras. Actually, the same could be said about every previous generational change. It seems that the main difference from last year's models will be the back cover made of tempered glass. Perhaps this will give it compatibility with iPhone X wireless charging.

What about the rest of the chips? They, apparently, will remain exclusive to the new flagship model for at least another year.

Apple Watch

This watch appeared in 2015, and received its first update in 2016. Then the Apple Watch Series 2 came out with full protection from water, that is, suitable not only for walking in the rain, but also for going to the pool. The design has not changed at all.

Now everyone is waiting for the Apple Watch Series 3 - its main novelty will be the ability to connect directly to the LTE network, bypassing the iPhone if it is not within Bluetooth range. What does this mean in practice? Well, for example, the ability to take only Apple Watch and wireless headphones for a run, and at the same time make and receive incoming calls.

These seem like small things, but in certain situations they can come in handy. Again, as Siri's artificial intelligence improves, the iPhone itself will gradually be needed less and less. If you can ask for information and receive an answer by voice, a set of watches and headphones may someday prove to be an attractive alternative to the telephone.

The appearance of the Apple Watch, it seems, will not change again; it is unlikely that a tray for a SIM card will be added. The iPad already comes with a software SIM card; It would be logical if smartwatches would be the first device to get rid of it completely.

New Apple TV

At one time, before each presentation, analysts liked to say that the company was about to roll out its own TV. And time after time, instead of a TV, something else appeared in front of us: a set-top box that allows you to watch movies and listen to music from iTunes.

The legendary “Home” button has disappeared. It was replaced by a simple gesture: you need to swipe your finger from bottom to top. If you hold your finger in place for a split second, you will be taken to the multitasking menu.

To unlock your smartphone, you now just need to use a face scanner. The technology is called Face ID, and the work is ensured by an infrared camera and various sensors that create a 3D model of the face. Face ID builds more than 30 thousand points, scanning 50 facial muscles to build a 3D model and unlock the smartphone.

Face ID adapts over time and works with third-party applications and the Apple Pay payment system. It will be very difficult to deceive facial scanning technology: the chance of deception is 1 in a million people.

iPhone X will be available for pre-order starting October 27, and the device will go on sale on November 3. The price starts from 80 thousand rubles.

iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus

According to the design, the back cover was changed and now it is made of glass. We did this in order to support wireless charging.

The processor is now A11 and now has six cores, two of which are dedicated to simpler tasks. It is only 25 percent more powerful than the A10, but this is enough for us.


The display sizes are still the same (4.7 and 5.5), but now they are Retina HD and support True Tone technology. The resolution is the same: 1334×750 and 1920×1080.

12 MP camera with f/1.8 aperture (the second camera on the 8 Plus has a 12 MP module with f/2.8 aperture). Which is slightly better than the iPhone 7.

Prices are as follows: iPhone 8, 64 GB - 56,990₽ (America - $699); iPhone 8, 256 GB - 68,990 RUR ($849); iPhone 8 Plus, 64 GB - 64,990 RUR ($799); iPhone 8 Plus, 256 GB - 76,990 RUR ($949).

The highlight, of course, was the iPhone, which has been leaked continuously for the last three months. The latest rumor turned out to be correct and we got the iPhone X, where X stands for the number 10, not X.

The platform for wireless charging of AirPower devices attracted the most attention. It will be able to accommodate and charge three devices at once: iPhone, Apple Watch and AirPods.

The cost was not announced, but I think they will appear in the near future and, as practice shows, they will cost decent money. But I think they're worth it.
