Uninstall the program on ios 9. How to uninstall Stocks, Tips, Wallet, News and other applications on iPhone and iPad. Getting rid of standard applications

Starting with iOS 9.3, iPhone and iPad users have the legal ability to hide (delete) icons of standard applications from the home screen. In this article, we will explain how it works.

iOS has always boasted of a minimal set of applications coming "out of the box", but from version to version the number of programs began to grow, and only a few moved into the category used in everyday life. The rest are hanging like a dead weight, at best in some daddy, and at worst on the farthest screen of the springboard. For me personally, they are stored in the "Apple" folder =)

Previously, in order to hide the icons of unused and non-removable standard applications, it was necessary either to resort to this method, to jailbreak services, or to use tricks with folders that did not work in all versions of iOS, and after a reboot, the effect stopped and had to be "conjured" again ...

In iOS 9.3, at the request of users, Apple released the official proprietary tool Apple Configurator, with which you can hide application icons.

But right away I would like to talk about the main disadvantages:

  • Apple Configurator only works on computers running OS X 10.11.4 or later.
  • The procedure involves hiding icons, not uninstalling programs, so that space on the iPhone or iPad will not free up. And it is unlikely that "Shares" or "Soviets" take up a lot of space.

How to remove app icons on iPhone and iPad

1. Download and install Apple Configurator for Mac OS X.

2. Start the program.

3. Create a new profile by going to File → New Profile (or use the Command (⌘) + N keyboard shortcut).

4. In the left side menu, select the “Generals” section, and in the “Name” field, enter a name for the profile, for example, “Hide icons”.

5. In the “Restrictions” section, click the “Configure” button.

6. Click on the “Apps” tab.

7. In the “Restrict App Usage” box, select “Do not allow some apps”.

8. In the field below, click the plus sign.

9. In the search bar, enter the ID corresponding to the application you want to hide and click the “Choose” button.

In the same way, add to the list all applications you want to hide.

10. Click on the cross to finish working with the profile, and then save it in a convenient place for yourself (by default, in documents).

11. Connect your iPhone, iPod touch or iPad to your computer, select your device, tap on the “Add” button and select “Profiles”.

12. Select the saved profile and click the “Add” button. Profile sync starts.

If the following message appears, it means you need to unlock your device.

That's it, the icons will be removed from the desktop and will not be displayed even after a reboot. If you want to return the icons of some applications, then edit the profile by removing the necessary programs from the list, and then re-upload the profile to the device.

How to uninstall stock apps in iOS

Uninstalling stock apps in iOS 10 is as easy as uninstalling any other app!

Step 1. Open the folder or find the standard app, which you want to delete, for example "Calendar".

Step 2. Press lightly on the application iconuntil she starts dancing.

Step 3. Find the little "x" iconwhich is reflected in the upper left corner and click on it.

After uninstalling an application, its icon will disappear from the iPhone or iPad desktop.

A note about removing stock apps from iOS: Due to the fact that some applications, such as Siri, are part of the system and are deeply integrated into iOS, they are not actually deleted or free up memory. Instead, their icons are simply hidden from the device's desktop. (Like a switch in iOS 9 settings).

How to install a standard iOS app

Step 1. Go to the app store App Store.

Step 2. Go to the tab "Search" at the bottom of the screen.

Step 3. Enter application names in the search bar. If you don't find it, type in the Apple search stock and select the developer page, there are all standard applications.

Step 4. Find the remote application and click on the cloud icon, this is to reinstall the previously uninstalled application.

I will notice! At the moment, it's a little difficult to find the standard pre-installed apps in the App Store by typing in its names, so head straight to Apple's developer page. Hopefully in future versions of iOS 10, search will perform better.

Have questions?

Can't find the app you deleted? Do you want some advice? Come on, write and ask in the comments!

Personally, I don't like the fact that my iPhone has apps like Newsstand, Compass, Passbook, and others that I never use. It turns out that it is very easy to hide them out of sight without resorting to jailbreak.

The plan for cutting out the icons of unnecessary default applications is as follows:

1. Go from mobile Safari to rag3hack.no-ip.org

2. Click on Hide Apps without Jailbreak.

3. Select the application whose icon you want to hide and click on it. You will be asked if you want to install app / certificate. Agree.

4. Instead of the application icon on the desktop, this installation will appear.

It will never end. But all you have to do is uninstall this installing application in the standard way.

5. Do this with all applications that you are tired of.

The plus / minus of this solution is that when the phone is restarted, the icons will return to their place. But on the other hand, if you need a remote program, it is very easy to return it.

You decide what to keep. No jailbreak required.

What is the problem

We don't use many of the built-in iOS apps. However, it is impossible to take and remove Tips, Apple Watch (in their absence), Compass, Podcasts and other "Apple legacy" through the settings menu.

If you have, then problems are solved quickly with the help of tweaks. The rest have to make a folder like Junk, Trash, Apple, CrApps, etc., where the unnecessary Apple application is placed.

We finally found radical option.

Recently, we got the opportunity to decide what is needed in iOS and what no... This is how my Springboard looks now:

Total 12 Appsthat I really need. One page, no folders!

Result: you decide on your own which applications from Apple will remain on the desktop. After a reboot, nothing changes.

What you need to get started: , Mac computer, willingness to perform a hard reset, desire.

Getting rid of standard applications

The site team is not responsible for any breakdowns and malfunctions that may result from following these instructions. Everything that you do, you do solely at your own peril and risk *.

* But we are always ready to help in the comments :)

Before starting installation

MANDATORY! I repeat once more MANDATORY!

  • Create a backup using the stationary version of iTunes. The instructions below are performed exclusively using the official Apple software, but having a backup will protect you from any failures and problems.
  • Disable Find My iPhone... You can do this in the menu Settings -> iCloud -> Find iPhonewhere there is a corresponding slider.

Note: keep in mind that you can only get rid of applications by completely resetting the device (data will remain in iCloud). In addition, restoring a device from a backup will return all applications. Before starting the installation, create screenshots of the desktop. They will help you later manually download the required software from the App Store.

Necessary software

  1. Utility Apple Configurator is available in the Mac App Store as well, but we need the latest beta 2.2. Download Apple Configurator 2.2 beta You can . Install it.
  2. Download the beta version of iOS 9.3 which strictlymatches your iOS device model. All firmwares are available.

Installation process

After finishing installation Apple Configurator 2.2 beta, connect your iOS device to your Mac. Configurator will detect the device. Select it (once click on the icon of a smartphone, player or tablet) and click on Prepare.

The settings for the next few steps are given in the form of a screenshot number and a corresponding text explanation:

1. Leave the value Manual... Push Next.

2. Since we are not interested in connecting the settings server for remote control, we select the value Do not enroll in MDM... We press Next.

3. Our task is to get supervisor's rightswhich will enable you to customize your own application package. We set two checkboxes: Supervise devices and Allow devices to pair ...... We press Next.

4. We indicate the name - in Latin. Other columns can be left blank. We press Next.

5. The next item is directly related to the creation of rights supervisor... Since we are pairing an iOS device for the first time, we select the item Generate a new supervision identity... We press Next.

6. Choosing the steps that will be offered after a complete reset of the device (entering Apple ID, connecting to Wi-Fi, ToucID settings, etc.). I recommend leaving Show all steps... We press Prepare and select the item Restore.

The next dialog box depends on which operating system is installed on your iOS device. Apple Configurator will prompt you to download the latest firmware version - iOS 9.2.1, you need to agree to this.

If you already have iOS 9.3 beta: agree to do Downgrade- the procedure for downgrading the firmware to iOS 9.2.1 (the system image will be downloaded from the Internet).

The process of downgrading or installing firmware consists of several stages: Downloads, opening the archive, the installation itself on the iOS device... Please note that during the entire time of working with Apple Configurator, the device must be connected to the computer via a Lightning cable.

During installation, the iOS device will reboot twice and meet a familiar Hello!... Go through the usual procedure with entering Apple ID, connecting to a Wi-Fi network, activating the device.

Note 1: If the activation fails the first time, re-enter your Apple ID, and in the Apple Configurator window, click Activate immediately after activation on iPhone.

Note 2: opt out of activating iMessage and setting up a keychain (passwords). The first will save money on the account, the second - nerves, since the next stage of setup will require:

Upgrade to iOS 9.3

After successful completion of the process obtaining supervisor rights, iOS 9.2.1 is installed on the iOS device, and in the Apple Configurator application the smartphone (tablet, player) is displayed in the category Supervised:

It's time to upgrade to iOS 9.3 beta. Open the folder where you saved the firmware (download -). Next, open a window with Apple Configurator. Drag the firmware file onto the device image and select Update.

Further steps completely coincide with the process of installing iOS 9.2.1 - three stages of installation, data entry on the device itself, activation.

As a result, we have an iOS device with the rights supervisorrunning on iOS 9.3. Make sure by opening Settings -> General -> About this device... It's time to create your own profile that will disable unnecessary Apple apps.

Create a profile and disable applications

the iOS device is still connected to the Mac. In Apple Configurator open File -> New Profile... The profile settings window will open.

As the name of the profile, you can choose any (preferably in Latin), under which you want to save it as a file.

    Identifier - the name of the profile during installation in iOS.
    Organization - can be left blank.
    Description - you can enable the list of applications that you plan to hide.
    Content Message - the text that will be displayed during installation.

After filling in all the fields, open the tab Restrictionsand click on the button Configure... The settings window will open. We are interested in the tab Apps:

In the dropdown list Restrict App Usage select item Do not allow some apps:

By pressing the button " + », You will open a search box bundles- application names by the corresponding identifier. Every iOS app has its own ID. List of applications and their corresponding identifiers:

com.apple.stocks - Promotions

com.apple.VoiceMemos - Dictaphone
com.apple.mobilenotes - Notes

com.apple.mobiletimer - Clock
com.apple.Bridge - Apple Watch
com.apple.gamecenter - Game Center
com.apple.facetime - FaceTime
com.apple.iBooks - iBooks
com.apple.MobileStore - iTunes Store

Add the appropriate identifier name to the search bar (for example: com.apple.podcasts) and select the first object from the list.

Continue adding apps you plan to hide by specifying the appropriate IDs. Once you have decided on the list, select File-> Save and give a name to the profile:

The profile editor can now be closed. Select your iOS device (single tap on the image) in the Apple Configurator window, then press the button Add-> Profiles.

Select the saved profile - and immediately after installation, the icons from the iPhone will disappear, the identifiers of which were previously indicated in the profile.

Note: profile application does not actually uninstall apps from iOS. You can always restore the standard operating mode.

What have I turned off

My list of disabled software looks like this. Maybe it will help someone decide:

  • Podcasts - I consider it an outdated format for presenting information;
  • Tips - Everything Apple has to offer is already known;
  • Apple Watch - I don't have them;
  • Wallet - you are not interested in booking an airplane or a hotel;
  • Dictaphone - found an alternative;
  • iTunes Store - YouTube and Apple Music are enough;
  • Weather - I prefer Yahoo Weather;
  • Finding friends is not interesting;
  • Video - I found an alternative, but I don't store movies on my iPhone;
  • Promotions - disabled by configuring the display of data in the Widget;
  • Game Center - last launched a couple of years ago;
  • Reminders - found an alternative;
  • Find iPhone - there is a Mac;
  • Compass - I don't use it, there are more convenient applications;
  • Maps - switched to Google Maps;
  • iBooks - found an alternative.

I am not inconvenient without these applications. And so decide for yourself what to refuse.

Fair, not overpriced or understated. There should be prices on the Service website. Necessarily! without "asterisks", it is clear and detailed, where it is technically possible - the most accurate, final.

If spare parts are available, up to 85% of complex repairs can be completed in 1-2 days. Modular repairs take much less time. The website lists the approximate duration of any repair.

Warranty and liability

Any repairs must be guaranteed. Everything is described on the website and in the documents. The guarantee is self-confidence and respect for you. A 3-6 month warranty is good and sufficient. It is needed to check quality and hidden defects that cannot be detected immediately. You see honest and realistic terms (not 3 years), you can be sure that they will help you.

Half of the success in Apple repair is the quality and reliability of spare parts, so a good service works with suppliers directly, there are always several reliable channels and your own warehouse with proven spare parts for current models so that you do not have to waste time.

Free diagnostics

This is very important and has already become a good form for the service center. Diagnostics is the most difficult and important part of the repair, but you shouldn't pay a dime for it, even if you don't repair the device as a result.

Service repair and delivery

A good service values your time and therefore offers free shipping. And for the same reason, repairs are carried out only in the workshop of the service center: correctly and according to technology, it can only be done at a prepared place.

Convenient schedule

If the Service works for you, and not for itself, then it is always open! absolutely. The schedule should be convenient so that you can catch up before and after work Good service works both on weekends and on holidays. We are waiting for you and working on your devices every day: 9:00 - 21:00

The reputation of professionals consists of several points

Age and experience of the company

Reliable and experienced service has been known for a long time.
If a company has been on the market for many years, and it has managed to establish itself as an expert, people turn to it, write about it, and recommend it. We know what we are talking about, since 98% of incoming devices in the SC are being restored.
Other service centers trust us and transfer complex cases.

How many masters in directions

If you are always waiting for several engineers for each type of equipment, you can be sure:
1. there will be no queue (or it will be minimal) - your device will be taken over immediately.
2. You are handing over your Macbook to a Mac repair expert. He knows all the secrets of these devices

Technical literacy

If you ask a question, a specialist must answer it as accurately as possible.
So that you have an idea of what exactly you need.
They will try to solve the problem. In most cases, the description tells you what happened and how to fix the problem.
