Refilling refillable cartridges hp 178. Instructions for refilling cartridges (PZK) from HP. Complete kit for easy installation of HP PCBs

For filling the shut-off valve(Refillable cartridges) You need the shut-off valve itself, ink and a syringe with a needle.

1. Move the carriage to the position of replacing cartridges (see the user manual for the printer), remove all original cartridges.

2. Refueling of the shut-off valve with ink is carried out through the filling holes. Remove the rubber plug from the filling hole (Photos 1 and 2), draw ink of the corresponding color into the syringe and fill it into the cartridge, then close the filling hole with the colored plug. In this case, the air opening must be closed. The slam-shut valves should be filled by 2/3 of their volume. It is possible to pour about 18-20 ml into the colored shut-off valves, and 36-40 ml into the black one. After the cartridge is filled and the filling hole is closed with a plug, remove the plug from the air hole.

3. Insert all refillable cartridges into the printer carriage. The slam-shut valve must be installed as a set, it is not necessary to mix the slam-shut valve and original cartridges.

4. Do a few cleanings of the print head and you're ready to print.

Control the level of ink in cartridges using the standard printer utility. Do not forget to refuel them on time. Do not fill them more than about 2/3 full, otherwise the ink may fill the air hole, resulting in poor print quality. If the print quality deteriorates, do a regular head cleaning. You can read how to do this in the user manual for the printer.

If you bought jet printer or MFPHP at 950-951 / 932-933 / 711 cartridges, you should read this article. If you do not want to buy original cartridges every time, then you have several options for solving this problem, the first option is to refill original cartridges, the second is to buy special refillable cartridges and refill them through a special filling hole. Further in the article we will look at how you can refuel original and refillable cartridges.ji

Before installing the shut-off device in the software to the printer, disable the cartridge protection in the HP Cartridge Protection tab, initialize the original cartridges that come with the printer, print 10-15 pages in color. Print a nozzle test (see printer instructions). Make sure the printer is working properly and the nozzle test passes 100%. The original cartridges do not have to be finished, in which case the compatible chips will not start.

Bring the carriage of the printer / MFP to the position of replacing cartridges (this is a standard procedure, for more details read the instructions for the printer / MFP, section "Replacing ink cartridges", which comes with the kit).

For filling the shut-off valve(Refillable cartridges) You need the shut-off valve itself, ink and a syringe with a needle. We will refuel through the filling hole, remove the rubber stopper, while the air hole must be closed, Figure 1. Picture 1. We collect ink into the syringe, about 18-20 ml can be poured into the colored PZK, 36-40 ml into the black one. Fill the cartridge, insert the rubber plug back into the filling hole and remove the plug from the air hole, Figure 2.
Figure 2. You can buy the shut-off valve in our online store, HP 950-951 shut-off valve / 932-933 / 711 without chip, HP shut-off valve 950-951 with chip, HP shut-off valve 933-932 with chip, ink for these cartridges.
Shortened cartridges are also filled through the filling hole, with the air hole closed, Figure 3.
Figure 3. Next, we take a syringe with a nozzle, Figure 6 and pump out air from the valve with a spring, there should be no air in it, if there is air and you insert it into the printer, this can lead to a malfunction of the printer, Figure 4.
Figure 4. We fill in this way all refillable cartridges and install them in the printer. We do a few cleanings of the print head and print. We install all 4 cartridges, it is necessary to install a set If you followed all the instructions correctly, but the chips were not detected, then read the article on updating the printer firmware version - How to solve the problem with undetected chips, how to flash a printer HP OfficeJet Pro 8610 8100 8600 8620 8630 Next, we will show you how to refill original cartridges.950-951/ 932-933/ 711, to refill original cartridges you need ink, a syringe with a nozzle. First you need to see how much ink you need to draw into the syringe, we refilled the magenta cartridge and its capacity is 12 ml., Figure 5.
Figure 5. We put 12 ml into the syringe, pay attention to the nozzle for refilling original cartridges, Figure 6. Ink for these cartridges.
Figure 6. Next, insert the syringe with a nozzle into the cartridge and press on the syringe plunger, pump 2 ml into the cartridge, and immediately pull the plunger in the opposite direction, pumping out 2 ml. air, Figure 7. Repeat this sequence several times, pumping all the ink into the cartridge and pumping out air from it. Failure to pump air can damage the internal ink reservoir.
Figure 7. After you have pumped ink into the cartridge, you need to pull the piston pumping out all the air in the cartridge, Figure 8, as soon as the ink has gone, remove the syringe with a nozzle from the cartridge, refueling is complete. We do the same with all the original cartridges and insert them into the printer, do a few cleanings of the print head and print.

Check the cleanliness of the chip contacts; to reset, you need to distort the cartridges during the replacement procedure Update ONLY micro software the printer itself. Drivers, software, updates and utilities that are on the site, DO NOT UPDATE.

Although by appearance, HP cartridges are very similar to canon cartridges, the way of operation, and, accordingly, the refueling of these cartridges are different. This manual explains the correct filling method for the Pacxodka HP178 and Pacxodka HP655 shut-off valves. Correct refueling and compliance with some of the rules, which will be discussed, are the key to the correct operation of the shut-off valve and the printer as a whole.

1. Preparation for refilling the cartridge.

Refueling of PZK "Pacxodka HP178" and "Pacxodka HP655" is carried out with ordinary medical syringes, no special devices or devices are required.

New cartridge HP178, HP655 with protective tape still attached, in the filling clip.

Before refueling, you need to remove the yellow tape that seals the air hole of the cartridge, the tape is glued to the body of the cartridge, and can be easily removed.

In rare cases, the air hole of the cartridge, after removing the tape, remains closed by the remnants of glue, or by the part of the tape that has not come off, it is very important for the normal functioning of the cartridge that the hole opens up air to the cartridge. Please make sure that this is the case:

The easiest way to make sure that the hole is not covered with the remnants of glue and protective tape is to pierce it with the needle of the syringe with which you will refill the cartridge:

The cartridge is ready for refueling, it remains to remove the plug from the refueling hole and you can start refueling:

The cartridge is refilled through the hole initially closed with a stopper, a mandatory rule that must be observed, the stopper restricts the free access of air to the cartridge chamber, which creates a slight vacuum in it, which in turn prevents the free flow of ink from the cartridge.

Important: The cartridge cap must not open if the cartridge is not installed in the refill clip (orange in the photo), and must be closed before removing the cartridge from the refill clip.

Through the filling hole you can start filling the cartridge "Pacxodka HP178" and "Pacxodka HP655" with ink:

PZK "Pacxodka" uses a high-quality filler that instantly absorbs ink, the photo shows the process of ink absorption by the cartridge filler

The cartridge is filled when the foam is saturated with ink and no longer absorbs ink:

Important: The filling (compensation) compartment of the cartridge must be empty. Otherwise, the pressure in the cartridge will not be stabilized and you will get blots on the paper and poor print quality. The cartridge is refilled until the filler absorbs the ink, after the filler is completely saturated with ink (stops absorbing ink from the filling chamber), ink filling must be stopped. If more ink has been charged, a certain amount of ink remains in the chamber, they must be pumped out with a syringe.

A filled and ready-to-use cartridge, the ink in the compartments is filled correctly, the filling hole is closed:

Important: Do not rush to install the cartridge in the printer immediately after refilling. Let the cartridge sit for half an hour to equalize the pressure and evenly distribute the ink along the filler fibers. This note is important only when the cartridge is first refilled. Repeated and subsequent refills are dispensed with without settling the cartridge.

After refueling, ink will not leak from a properly refilled cartridge, the cartridge is guaranteed not to flood the printer mechanisms with excess ink, and will print perfectly:

The cartridge is ready to be installed in the printer. All cartridges are refilled in the same way.

Repeated and further refills are performed in the same way as the initial refueling, except that the cartridge can be installed in the printer immediately after refilling.

Tip: Prepare the ink even before removing the ink cartridge from the printer. Then, over time, you will spend no more than 15 seconds on refilling the cartridge. The syringe can be reused after refilling, sterility is not required during refueling, the main thing is after refilling with ink, rinse the syringe and dry it.

3. Work with cartridges

If your kit does not have an "autochip" installed, the printer will print the cartridge as standard and then indicate that the cartridge is out of ink and needs to be replaced.

When, according to the printer, the cartridge is empty, it is necessary to disable the ink control in the printer, otherwise the printer will block work on "empty" cartridges. This is done in the printer menu or settings on the computer if the printer does not have a display.

Disable ink control in HP printers. Allows you to print on a "run out" cartridge.

After disabling the control by the cartridge chip, your printer will not show the approximate ink level, but it will not block the printer with a request to install a new cartridge.

The user's task is to monitor the ink in the cartridge, Pacxodka shut-off valves are made of transparent plastic, which allows you to visually control the ink level and not miss the moment when the cartridge runs out.
