A paid fine has arrived - instructions for appealing

Re-arrival of already paid fines is a fairly common problem. That is why we recommend that you always save payment documents. In principle, this rule should be applied not only when paying fines, but for any payments, especially to large government organizations.

How to appeal a repeat fine

To file a complaint about the re-arrival of a paid fine, you need to go to a special section of the site gibdd.ru. You will be able to familiarize yourself with the requirements for your electronic application, as well as the reasons why you may be denied consideration. After we press the button "Go to filling out the questionnaire for sending an appeal."

Next, you need to select the region to the traffic police department of which you want to send an appeal. Please note that here you need to choose not the region where you live, but the one in which the fine was issued. After all, sometimes they can differ:

In the "Purpose of the direction of the appeal" field, select "Forwarding documents". Fill in your last name, first name and patronymic. In the "Get a response" field, select "electronic". Enter your email address and phone number:

It remains only to write the text of the appeal in free form and attach supporting documents.

An example of a text for contacting the traffic police

"Hello! On August 1, 2016, I was issued a fine (Decree No. XXX). On August 8, the fine was paid with a 50% discount using a bank card. A week later, the fine disappeared from unpaid fines on the site gibdd.ru and other systems. However, on October 1, 2016, it reappeared, and a second notification came through the Russian Post.
Attached is a receipt of payment and a payment order from the bank. I ask you to look into this situation and set off the funds transferred by me towards the payment of this fine (Decree No. XXX).
