Write down normal. How to record your voice on a Windows computer. Now we choose what to write

  • To record songs from your CD player to your computer, configure your computer to detect line-in instead of microphone-in:
    • Discover Audio Control Panelby clicking on the menu button Start and choosing Control Panel... Enter "sound" into the search box, then click on Sound in search results.
    • Go to the tab Recording.
    • Click on Line In (Line in) and select Default
    • Click on the button Properties, go to the tab Levels and drag the volume slider to the right to increase the recording volume, then press OK.
    • In the dialog box Sound click OK.
    • You did well!
  • There are several ways to break the 60-second limit in Sound Recorder. The first is the copy and paste method.
    • Record a maximum of 60 seconds of silence. On the menu Edit select Copy and then -- Paste... This will increase the recording time to 120 seconds. From now on, you can add 60 seconds at a time, or double this time by copying and pasting. Thanks to these actions, you will quickly increase the recording time: 60 + 60 \u003d 120 + 120 \u003d 240 + 240 \u003d 480 + 480 \u003d 960, etc. In just four copy-paste procedures, you will have 16 minutes of recording!
    • The second way to get past the 60 second limit requires using the command line.
    • Open a command prompt by clicking on the menu button Start... Enter "command line" in the search bar and select it from the search results.
    • AT command line enter the following where filename is the title of your audio recording (file name), and filetype - file extension:

SoundRecorder / FILE filename.filetype / DURATION hhh: mm: ss

For example, if you want to record in wma format named "FunkyBunky" for 3 minutes 20 seconds, enter the following

      SoundRecorder / FILE FunkyBunky.wma / DURATION 0000: 03: 20

    • Press enter and Sound Recorder will open as an icon in the notification area.
    • Make your recording for the scheduled duration, then it will be saved in C: \\ Users \\ YOUR USERNAME under the name "FunkyBunky".
  • If you cannot find the Sound Recorder program on your computer, you may have uninstalled it (maybe once upon a time, when you tried to free up some space on your hard drive). In this case, you can easily download it from any reliable website.
  • To record your guitar, you need sound card with line input. Look at the back, sides and front of the computer, you should see three connectors: pink, blue, and green. In pink, you plug in a microphone. You use the blue connector as a line-in to connect, for example, a CD-player. Green is used to connect speakers and headphones. To connect your guitar, do the following:
    • Connect one side of the cable to your guitar and the other to the 6.3mm to 3.5mm adapter, then to the microphone jack. It will work.
    • However, if you want really good sound, consider purchasing a USB audio interface or other active (powered) interface between your computer and your guitar.
  • USB microphones and audio interfaces are excellent budget tools for working with audio on a PC. There are excellent USB microphones with very good sound quality.

Hello dear friends, I have long wanted to add this topic to my site and tell you how better and more correct to burn the disc.

How to burn files from a computer to disk

So, disc burn can be done in a standard way in Windows and using a special program. And now we will consider everything.

Method 1: How to burn a disc in Windows

1. Start autorun.

When you insert the disc, a window should pop up that prompts you to perform the following actions:

- If there is no such window, then go to my computer and double-click the left mouse button on this disk.

2. You must choose a recording method, this moment is very important :

You should now have a menu like this:

Now attention!

Recording format Recommended drives
AND). how uSB flash drive this format is intended for rewritable discs (CD-DVD-RW), do not use this format for regular discs, as your disc after recording may not be readable on other devices, especially if you want to record for audio or video players. And if you choose this format you can't go back! The only advantage is that you can use the disk as a USB flash drive, that is, you can delete at least one file and you can also write at least one file to the disk. But attention, this is only for RW discs (rewritable discs). CD-DVD-RW (R)
B). With CD-DVD player this format is intended for all drives and if you are not going to use the disk as a USB flash drive and you want your disk to be read everywhere, select this item. CD-DVD-R

If you nevertheless chose the first option, then a window will appear in which you will be asked for confirmation to format the disk for this type of recording. You cannot return the changes back!

If you still agree, we confirm, click yes.

3. Now choose what to record.

First way:

You can just copy the file you want to burn and paste to disk.

Second way:

Press right click mouse over the selected file or folder and select send and select the disk.

4. Finally, the record!

We go to our disk and click write to CD (burn disc).

A window will appear in which you need to select:

1. Disc name

2. Speed \u200b\u200b(the lower - the better)

3. By checking the box, the recording wizard will automatically close.

The entire disc is burned!

Method 2: How to burn a disc using Nero micro

As you probably know, standard methods are not always good, master of recording windows disks although it copes well with its function, it still has few advantages. Now let's expand the recording capabilities with free software for burning Nero micro discs.

You can download nero micro for free, and most importantly, it is a micro version of nero, with free distribution.

1. Recording any data.

2. Record music in various formats

3. Record video in various formats.

4. Useful function - write a disk image to a USB flash drive.

Here I will show you an example of how to burn a regular CD. For this:

Select the data CD. A window will open.

And add files here.

Can be added using the add button or drag and drop required file out the window.

Here we choose:

1. Disk name

2. Recording speed (the lower the better).

3. Allow adding files (it will be possible to add the disc if there is free space), but the disc may not be readable on some devices.

Press record.

After recording, a window will appear with the successful recording of the disc.

And at the end I will say that everyone has their own opinion on how to record a disc. But these methods have never let me down and discs were successfully written all the time.

Therefore, I recommend them to you!

In this lesson, we will learn how to write files and folders from a computer to blank disc... We will also talk about what disks are, and how they differ from each other.

In the previous lessons, we learned how to copy files and folders. By copying, you can write files to a computer, to a USB flash drive, transfer from a phone or a camera. But not to disk. If we try to write something to an empty disk in this way, it will still remain empty.

To burn discs correctly, use special programs... The most famous of them is called Nero, but unfortunately it is paid. There are also free options - CDBurnerXP, BurnAware, and others. They are no worse, but you need to find such a program on the Internet, download it to your computer, then install it correctly and learn how to use it.

All these gestures make sense if the user needs to frequently write information to discs. But there is another, easier way - without any programs.

It is good because it is versatile. That is, in this way you can burn files and folders with files to an empty disk without additional programs and settings, on almost any computer.

Among the shortcomings, it should be noted that on computers with windows system XP, in this way you can only burn to CD - you cannot burn to DVD.

What are the disks

There are CDs and DVDs. Many people think that only movies are recorded on DVD, and everything else on CD - music, documents, photographs. In fact, this is not the case. They differ only in size.

On DVD disc fits four or even eight times more information than a CD. That is, if one film fits on a CD, and even then not in a very good quality, then four or more movies can be recorded on a DVD. Music, photos, documents and other files and folders can be burned to both CD and DVD.

There are also R and RW discs. The difference between them is that you can write information on R only once, and on RW many times. Recorded, used, and then erased and recorded something else.

Well, and, among other things, disks can be roughly divided into "full" and "empty". That is, those on which something has already been recorded (films, music, etc.) and those on which there is nothing.

Burn discs

First you need to find out which windows version installed on the computer. To do this, open "Start", right-click on the inscription "Computer" (My Computer) and in the list that opens, click on "Properties".

A window will open in which it will be written which system is installed.

Burning discs in Windows XP

Select the files and folders you want to burn to a blank CD:

Open the drive on your computer. To do this, open "My Computer":

Right-click on an empty space and click on "Paste".

The files and folders you copied will be pasted to the disc. But this does not mean that they signed up for it. To do this, you need to right-click on an empty space and select the "Burn files to CD" item from the list.

The "CD Burning Wizard" window will open. You can type a title for the disc in the CD Name field, but this is optional. Click the Next button and wait.

When the disc is recorded (the green bar fills up and disappears), a new window will open, in which you need to click the "Finish" button.

Even if such a window does not appear, the disc is still recorded.

Most likely, it will slide out of the computer itself. Thus, the computer reports that the recording was successful and the disc can already be used.

How to clean up a disk in Windows XP

You can only clean a disc if it is reusable. To do this, it must be written RW. If the letter R is written on the disk, then you cannot erase it from it, it is one-time.

Insert the RW disc into the drive.

Open it on your computer. To do this, open "My Computer":

And in it, open the CD / DVD drive:

Then right-click on an empty space (on a white field) and select “Erase this CD-RW” from the list.

A new window will open. Click on the "Next" button and wait until all information is erased. When this happens, a Done button will appear. Click on it. That's it, the disc is clean and you can record something on it again.

Burning discs Windows 7

Select the files and folders you want to burn to disk:

Copy them, that is, right-click on any of the selected files (folders) and in the list that appears, click on the "Copy" item.

Insert a blank disc into the drive.

Open "Computer" (Start - Computer).

Open your CD / DVD drive. To do this, double-click on it with the left mouse button.

A small window will appear. You need to select the type of disc you are going to burn. There are two types - "Like a USB flash drive" and "With CD / DVD player".

The first option is more convenient and modern: you will get a disk very similar to a USB flash drive - you can write files and folders by ordinary copying, and erase from it by simple deletion. But on the other hand, such disks may not open on some computers.

The second option - "With CD / DVD player" - is classic, that is, the same as in Windows XP. It is suitable if you want to record music and plan to listen to it not only on a computer, but also on players (for example, in a car). This option is less convenient, but more reliable - a disc recorded in this mode will open on any computer.

Click on the type that suits you. Then click on the "Next" button.

If you have chosen Like a USB flash drive, a warning will appear stating that you will have to wait while the disc is preparing to burn. By the way, it happens that you have to wait a long time - more than ten minutes. Click the "Yes" button.

When everything is ready, the window will disappear, and a new small window will appear, in which the computer will "offer" to open the folder to view the files.

But even if such a window does not appear, it's okay, just open Computer again and open the CD / DVD drive.

Will open empty folder... Right-click on an empty space and click on "Paste".

After some time, the files and folders copied earlier will be added. That's all, the disc burning was successful!

If you chose the type With CD / DVD player, then a blank disc will open. Right-click on an empty space and click on "Paste".

The files and folders you copied will be pasted to the disc. But this does not mean that they have already signed up for it. In order for this to happen, you need to right-click on an empty space and select the "Burn to disk" item from the list.

A new window will appear. You can type a name for the disc in it, but this is optional. Click "Next".

Now you have to wait. When the disc is written (the green bar fills up and disappears), a new window will open, in which you need to click the "Finish" button.

But even if such a window does not appear, the disc is still recorded.

Most likely, he will advance on his own. Thus, the computer "tells" us that the recording was successful, and the disc can already be used.

How to erase a Windows 7 disk

We can only erase from the disk if it is reusable and is called RW. If the letter R is written on it, then the disc is disposable and cannot be erased from it.

Insert the disc into the drive and open it on your computer (Start - Computer - CD / DVD drive).

Try deleting the file or folder. To do this, right-click on the file (folder). A list will open. See if there is a "Delete" item in it. If there is, then delete the information through this item.

And if there is no such inscription, then right-click on an empty space (white field) and select "Erase disk" from the list (or an item with a similar name).

Insert a blank CD-R or CD-RW disc into the drive and open this disc when Windows 7 Explorer asks for formatting to select "With CD DVD player":

In the second window of the recording wizard, select the type "Audio CD":

After that, copy the files, wav, mp3 or wma and paste in the disk window. After copying the files, the Windows Media Player»And in this window there will be a list of files for recording. In order to start recording, click the "Start recording" button:

Wait for the burning process to complete:

After recording is complete, the drive tray will open.

Note

While it is possible to record audio CDs from MP3 or WMA files, you must understand that in this case, although the disc format is Audio-CD, the sound quality will be the same as the original MP3 or WMA files. So if you want to burn a really high quality audio CD, you need to burn it from uncompressed sound files WAV format.

For best compatibility with consumer players, do not use for recording CD-RW discs, but only CD-R.

The Audio-CD recording method described in this article is only suitable for those cases where the audio disc is planned to be played on a computer, car radio, portable player or "boombox". But if you are a connoisseur of good music and you have good audio technique, the approach to recording audio CDs should be very different. Burning high-quality audio CDs is a rather complex topic that requires knowledge, specialized software and equipment.

Greetings to all my regular readers and those who came to my blog for the first time. I hope you like it and you will become regular readers of this computer resource.

Recently I had a need to write certain files to disk, literally in half an hour everything was done. After that, without thinking twice, I decided to write an article how to burn music to disc... Last time we talked about that.

You can record not only music, but also other video files, photos, documents, images, and so on. Today I will tell you and show you four ways to burn music to a disc and other information, just talk a little about the three popular audio recording formats and what kind of discs there are. Also, especially for you, I recorded 4 video lessons for each program, which we will analyze today.

Music on round media

Highlights:

  • Audio formats
  • Disc formats
  • Putting music in the car
  • Writing Music - Nero Program

Audio formats

Music is usually recorded in three formats Audio CD, Mp3 and Flac. There are, of course, other formats, but in this issue we will only cover these three. So, what is the difference between these music formats.

Audio CD - its history began in the last century, back in 1969. The first Audio CD (compact disc) was released in 1980 by Philips and Sony. And two years later the first CD player appeared.

It holds from 15 to 20 songs in good quality (stereo), the recording time is up to 80 minutes. Most often, such discs are listened to in cars, music centers and other players. They were also often used in discos and recording studios.

Mp3 - the format itself appeared in 1994, it was developed at the Fraunhofer Institute. Literally a year later, the first Mp3 player appeared. This format can record up to 10 times more songs than an Audio CD, depending on the sound quality and the codec being compressed.

The average person probably will not distinguish between the sound of Mp3 and Audio CD. The Mp3 format is widespread almost everywhere; most players support it. It is divided into three versions: Mpeg-1, Mpeg2 and Mpeg-2.5. The Mp3 patent is owned by Alcatel-Lucent and ends in 2017.

Flac - appeared quite recently, not many people have heard and know about it. Personally, I stumbled upon it by accident about a year ago. For true connoisseurs of music, I can recommend listening to audio recordings in Flac format, also called Lossless. There is almost no loss and the sound quality is much higher than in Audio CD and Mp3. The average size of one such file is several times larger than Mp3.

Sound quality on average ranges from 700 to 1500 Kbps. In the same Mp3 maximum 320 Kbps, most often 192 Kbps. Listen to the song in the first two regular formats, then in Flac format. I'm sure the difference will be obvious. If you like calm music then check out my second music blog, Chillout.

Something I got a little carried away with these audio formats. If you want to know more about formats, you can always turn to the Internet or Wikipedia for help. Let's start directly with the process of burning music to disc.

To do this, you must have several CDs or DVDs ready, depending on the amount of information you want to burn to the disc. And several, so that if one disc gets damaged (burning fails), you can use the second - a spare.

Disc formats

I forgot to tell you what kind of discs there are. Currently, the most commonly used disc formats are:

  • CD-R, CD-RW - the amount of stored information 700 MB
  • DVD-R / + R, DVD-RW / + RW, DVD-R DL / DVD + R DL - information capacity 4.7 - 8.5 GB
  • DVD-RAM - can be rewritten up to 100,000 times, unlike its brother DVD-RW / + RW, which has a resource of up to 1,000 rewrites. In most cases, it has a protective casing and holds 2.6 - 9.4 GB
  • BD-R / -RE / -RE DL - blue-ray discs, information volume 25 - 500 GB
  • Also, all of the above discs have smaller brothers Mini-CD, Mini-DVD and Mini-BD, which hold slightly less information than their older brothers.

The abbreviation -R- stands for single use, -RW- reusable, and -DL- multi-layer disc.

Burning music to disk in the car

In order to burn music to disk in a car, you need to decide on the supported formats of your radio. They are usually written on the car radio itself. If they are not there, then look at the instructions of the radio itself, if it remains.

If not, then write down the brand, name of the radio and look at the information on the Internet for the supported media and audio formats.

Old radio tape recorders support CD - Audio and WMA. It is necessary to record music in these formats, others will not be played.

Old radio tape recorders with CD support - MP3, Audio and WMA. Here you can already write melodies to discs in empatri format.

Receivers supported CD and DVD - there is the ability to record songs on both sit and div media, see the supported formats.

The latest radios support CD, DVD, USB-Flesh (flash drives), bluetooth, phone support and straight from the internet.

There are car radios on android and with support for FLAC (lossless) - the sound quality is much better than MP3, but to evaluate it, a good audio system must be installed, preferably with a sound amplifier.

Recording music using Windows

In the first way, we will learn how to burn music to disc using standard windows tools.

We turn on our computer, insert a blank disc into the drive, it must be 100% free and go to my computer.

We go to this blank disk.

The How do you plan to burn this disc window appears.

Coming up with the name of our disc (for example, My Music).

Choosing how you plan to use this disk.

Personally, I rarely use this method and always choose With a CD / DVD player.

You can also click on the blue text. Which format should I use?

If you have any questions or difficulties, you can use this hint and click Next.

Insert or drag to it required files music, photos, videos and so on.

The files we added will be transparent - it means that they are ready for recording, but not yet recorded.

Move the mouse to the free unoccupied space and click on it with the right mouse button, in the menu that appears, select Write to disk.

Here you can name our disc, if you haven't given it any name before, but you can leave it unchanged.

There is an option to Close the wizard when the files are written.

You can use this function if you want to close the burn wizard after the disc has been burned.

After the burn is completed, click the Finish button.

In the end, I got it, I don't know how you get it, everyone will have different files.

After you finish recording, you can enjoy your new music. If the recording did not end with luck, then you need to perform all the same actions, only this time with a new disc.

Recording Music Using Windows Media

I will demonstrate the second way how to record music to a disc on a player. Windows Media... It is present (built-in) in the standard, embedded software package operating systems Microsoft.

The first step is to enable our Windows Media Player.

After it opens, you need to go to the Recording tab, which is located in the right upper corner between Play and Sync.

An Audio CD should appear. I wrote 702 MB left out of 702 MB.

In order to add the necessary elements, they must be transferred to the Record List.

After that, you can go to the Recording Options.

Additional recording parameters ... set all the necessary settings, if, of course, you deem it necessary to do so.

I almost never go there, although no, you need to choose the write speed - the lower the better. You can set it to medium or low.

After all the settings are set, click Start Recording and wait for the final result, but while you wait, expand your knowledge and read the article.

There is also the option to rip music from a CD. Quite a handy tool if you need to rip music from an Audio CD. Most programs will not be able to do this. I saw and used this option only in two programs - Windows Media and Winamp (my favorite music player).

Writing Music - Nero Program

In most cases, when I need to burn any disc, I most often use the Nero disc burning program. Surely most of you are familiar with this program, if not, I recommend that you get acquainted with it. She has ample opportunities for how to record music to disk and a lot of additional chips (settings and bells and whistles).

With it, you can rip discs, create images, record your own clips and films, make presentations, your own slideshows and much more. You can download this program on the Internet, on the official website of the program different versions cost differently, but not free, so search on the internet.

Let's start burning music to disc in the third way, using the Nero program.

We launch the Nero program, I use version 7, it is proven and the most reliable, in any case for me. Perhaps someone has a different version, the interface will be slightly different, but the essence of the program does not change - recording discs and everything connected with it.

We go to Nero StartSmart, you may have a slightly different name. At the top center, you can immediately select the type of recording media CD, DVD, Blu-ray or two in one CD / DVD.

Go to the note - Sound tab.

Select the project we need and click on it Make Audio CD, Create JukeBox CD (Mp3, Mp4, WMA) and so on.

You can also go to the data tab and burn a regular data disc. If you just need Audio CD, then choose Make Audio CD. Need Mp3 - select Create JukeBox CD, or Create Data CD.

If you have a lot of information, you can burn discs to DVD, everything is the same.

After selecting a project, a Nero Express window appears in which we need to add our files.

You can click on the "green plus" Add button, or drag the data into an empty window. You can also use the clipboard and hot keys Ctrl + X, Ctrl + C, Ctrl + V.

The Add File (s) window appears with two green stripes.

After the information is added to the disk, you can double-check everything and click Next.

A Compatibility Warning comes out (may not appear). We are asked Disable multisession? If we don't write anything else on it, then click yes. If you want to add data to it in the future, then click no, we see the Final recording settings window.

Here you can write the name of the disk.

Select the current recorder (if you have multiple drives).

Set the number of copies to be recorded.

It is possible to check the Check data after writing to disk - this function is useful if you are recording important information and want to make sure she signed up without any mistakes. It is also sometimes called Data Verification, that is, comparing a copy with the original.

You can also set Allow adding files (multisession).

Then press Record (burning match near the disk) and wait. You can go for a smoke, drink tea or coffee, or do something else for about 20 minutes or more, for example

  • subscribe to receive new articles on my blog,
  • read the article

At the end of the burning process, such a window should appear. Burning completed successfully, click OK. After that, the Save Project window will appear. We will be asked - Do you want to save the project? I always click No, if you want to save the project, then click Yes.

You can also check the Do not show this message again box if you do not want it to constantly appear after each disc recording. If the burning fails, it happens, and you need to insert a new disc and try again.

You can enjoy music or other recorded data.

Recording music - Ashampoo software

Ashampoo is a subsidiary of Microsoft Corporation, which was created in Germany specifically to develop software with a closed source code in 1999.

I rarely use Ashampoo, Nero is enough. Here is a calm dark blue interface with white waves, everything is in Russian, a convenient menu. You can download the Ashampoo program on the official website.

By only downloading it from the official website, you can use it for free for 10 days without registration and 30 days if you request an activation code for a month.

If this does not suit you, then at any time you can go to the Internet and download for yourself full version... Found one link of the program, I post it for those who do not know how to search.

Download Ashampoo Burning Studio

In order to download it, you must have 176 MB of free disk space.

Here we imperceptibly came to the fourth and last method of how to burn music to disc in this article.

We find our program Ashampoo.

We turn on the ashampa.

We go to the submenu Create + Record.

Go to the Music tab.

From the pop-up menu, you can select Create Audio CD and Create Mp3 or WMA Disc.

There are also many functions here, in the same submenu you can select Copy music files to disc.

We press the add button and select the desired music or other files. You can also transfer data with a simple mouse movement to a blank area or use the magic keys Ctrl + X, Ctrl + C, Ctrl + V.

.

After finishing recording, you can listen to your music or watch other files that have been burned to the disc. If errors occur and some files do not open, then you need to take a new disc and repeat the burning process.
