As mentioned above, UltraHD resolution is quite merciless to the fullness of the ultrabook battery. Taking into account the use of a powerful processor, we were not surprised that the battery life of ASUS ZENBOOK Pro UX501JW averaged 2.5-3 hours.

It is believed that for a mobile gaming station, such as the Alienware 15 laptop, the high quality of the display is not so critical - in the heat of a virtual battle, the player is unlikely to peer so meticulously into the color rendition of the picture and its contrast, as a computer artist or photographer usually does. However, Dell has its own point of view on this issue.

I don’t want to talk too much about the design of Alienware 15; many are probably familiar with the appearance of laptop cases in this line. Let's just say that these are really stylish and visually powerful laptops with quite a lot of weight and dimensions. So a model with a 15.6-inch display weighs a good three kilograms and reaches a thickness of 3.5 centimeters.

In terms of configurations, the Alienware 15 model offers several variations. What’s not very nice is that even in the first case, both available slots will be occupied by memory modules according to the 2x4 SODIMM DDR3 scheme.

Unlike the top-end hardware, it’s not at all necessary to buy an Alienware 15 with an UltraHD display, especially if you’re interested in picture quality. Paradoxically, the honor of being included in our material was the “regular” version of a laptop with a screen whose resolution is 1920 by 1080 pixels.
