What did not like

What we liked

I like everything about him! From processor to design. This is a complete comp. I would also like to say about the screen, it's just a miracle. Well, what a sound he makes! Headphones are good only for him.

What did not like

The standard camera program can only focus in automatic mode, other modes are not suitable for shooting (the situation can be corrected by installing third-party camera applications, there are no such problems with them);
- the size of pictures taken with the standard camera application is about 2.5 MB, third-party cameras take photos larger than 5 MB;
- android 5.1 declared by the manufacturer is missing, at the time of writing the review android version 5.0.2;
- it is impossible to send SMS to numbers from the contact list that start with 8 (I had to change to +7);
- 2300 mAh battery will last for a day of average use;
- slow bluetooth.
- the proximity sensor works inadequately, pressing with the ear constantly occurs), after a conversation the screen often does not turn on, you have to press the unlock button on the phone;
- if on / off is selected on the phone. according to the schedule and it is charging at this time, then after turning on the phone, the battery charge indicator does not change the battery charge level (as it was 100%, it costs 100%). It is treated by rebooting the phone.

What we liked

4G with any of 2x SIM (one communication module); - 2 GB of RAM (free from 1.2 GB); - 16 GB of internal memory; - good display; - nice body; - indicator light for charging and missed calls, received messages (hidden behind the speaker mesh); - main camera 13 Mp (but ... in shortcomings); - 5 megapixel front camera takes sufficiently detailed pictures; - good multimedia speakers; - Dolby Atmos surround sound system (only with good headphones); - electronic compass.

What did not like

i haven't found it yet.

What we liked

quality of material, sound, price.

What did not like

Like most mid-range smartphones, the 6010 takes very mediocre photos in the evening. A powerful flash, although it saves the situation, does not reach the level of triple LEDs.
According to the tradition of most Chinese companies, a lot of different software is initially preinstalled here, including unnecessary ones, like Guvera Music and Gamestore, which, fortunately, can be easily removed.

What we liked

Very nice, bright design, which will certainly distinguish the owner of this device from the crowd. In reality, it looks even more interesting + there are covers in white and red. Almost perfect balance in terms of price / quality ratio, i.e. in all respects everything will be very good here - there is Android 5.0 Lollipop, support for LTE networks, a proven Snapdragon 410 processor, 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of ROM, a decent external camera with 13 million pixels with a 5 megapixel selfie, VERY bright IPS display with natural colors. Perhaps the mostaaaa main feature, what is worth paying close attention to this model is the Dolby Atmos audio system. The smartphone is marketed as a music smartphone, and is capable of delivering surprisingly good sound to the smartphone through the speakers. I have never heard such a sound in smartphones - the sound is loud, clear, surround. The only thing is a little lack of bass, but for a smartphone it is quite forgivable. Across good headphones the sound is also interesting, at the level of the same Apple iPhone.

What did not like

Battery, microphone, indistinct photo in evening / night time

What we liked

4G with any of 2x SIM (one communication module); - 2 GB of RAM (free from 1.2 GB); - 16 GB of internal memory; - good display; - nice body; - indicator light for charging and missed calls, received messages; - main camera 13 MP; - 5 megapixel front camera takes sufficiently detailed pictures; - good multimedia speakers; - Dolby Atmos surround sound system.

What did not like

Works very slowly
- Programs often freeze during operation

What we liked

Perhaps I can only name a good screen and sound

What did not like

Weak battery. Obviously not a gaming machine

What we liked

Good camera and sound. Enjoying a glitch-free month

What did not like

Battery, lenovo Vibe UI shell, microphone, Adreno 306 video processor, overpriced for such shortcomings

What we liked

Sound of external speakers, main and front camera, 2Gb RAM and 16Gb built-in, appearance

What did not like

Disgusting work of the proximity sensor - when talking, the screen block is not regularly put on
Inconvenient layout and assignment of buttons under the screen and the impossibility of reassignment (found even in cheap Chinese)
Lack of oleophobic coating (solved by protective glass)
A weak battery, and at the same time, the charge runs unevenly. Not really a problem, but still sits down quickly
Not the best Lenovo Vibe UI shell and very weak in features compared to LG for example
The event notification diode is almost invisible
Camera rubbish

What we liked

The screen is very good for such a resolution, decent sensor performance Dimensions relative to the diagonal and at the same time not on-screen buttons Loud external speaker (but nothing special) Loud earpiece and generally decent audibility Very good at picking up the connection and switching between network modes Memory 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of RAM works quite stably Rear cover (matte gray plastic with a corrugated pattern) not a bad material option PRICE RELATIVE to what is on display in stores in the public domain

What did not like

There is no hot swap of the flash drive and a separate button for the camera, until it is impossible to root

At Lenovo, if they want to, they can make a beautiful design. And even after the purchase of Motorola, even more so - extremely attractive devices are released under this brand. However, the company's A series is not about design and not about "image", it is about "budget". More precisely, about that "good combination" of price and characteristics, which is mentioned in the introduction.

But there is no need to worry - the A6010 looks good. But there is nothing remarkable about it either. Let's just say that this model does not differ from the A6000 at all. The company simply took a successful pipe in something, improved some parameters and released it on the market with a slightly changed index and a different designation. touch buttons... In general, everything is logical.

If you do not compare Lenovo A6010 with its predecessor, then it has the most ordinary appearance. This can be found on the pipes of numerous B-brands that are widely represented in our market.

On the front side it is an ordinary black "rectangle" with a medium-thick screen frame. The phone is surprisingly "faceless" - it does not evoke any emotions, just another smartphone from hundreds of the same type. This is not a disadvantage, but for some people it is even an advantage - you can be sure that they will not think badly about the pipe.

The back cover, however, looks less strict and not so boring. She has a dark gray color and shallow embossing. The touch turned out quite unusual, and besides, the phone does not slip out of hands and there are no prints on the lid.

Weight and dimensions Lenovo A6010 looks good. The smartphone is not the thinnest, but also far from thick - 8.2 mm is not very large. And at the same time it is also light - 128 grams for a 5-inch relatively inexpensive tube is a very decent figure.

And to top it all off, the Lenovo A6010 is well built, and the case is made of quality plastic. In theory, over time, scuffs will appear on it, but the paint will not peel off.

Connectors and controls

As we said, the A6010 is a “typical” smartphone, which means that there are no unusual solutions in terms of connectors and buttons. However, we somehow did not expect something "like".

Above the screen, as always, are the earpiece, the front camera lens, light and proximity sensors.

Three touch buttons are located under the screen context menu, home and back. Lenovo, by the way, still doesn't want to replace the functionality of its extreme left button from the menu with a list of all applications. So, in our opinion, it would be more convenient.

At the back at the bottom you can find two perforation blocks and the famous "Dolby" inscription between them. The smartphone is equipped with two loud speakers, and in addition, there is a separate Dolby Atmos application for adjusting its sound parameters.

In the upper part in the left corner (or in the right, if you hold the handset with the screen facing you) there is a rear camera lens, an LED flash and a spoken microphone. This is not the best place for the camera - fingers cover it more often than if it were in the center.

The left side of the phone was left empty.

On the right you can see all the buttons: two for volume control and one for turning on the device.

All the connectors were brought out to the upper end, which is not the best solution, especially with regard to microUSB - just try talking on such a phone while charging and see for yourself what is wrong here. As for the 3.5 mm minijack, it is more and more often found at the bottom - precisely because it is also more convenient this way.

Below in the right corner is a modestly located spoken microphone.

Inside, Lenovo A6010 also usually has three slots for cards, a removable battery. The battery will have to be removed to insert any of the cards.

The smartphone works with microSIM cards with a microSD memory card slot located between the compartments. Installing them is very simple - you just need to push them inside. However, if you have any questions about this, then our short video will help here:

In terms of ergonomics, the biggest complaint about the Lenovo A6010 is the connectors on the top edge. Okay, more audio output, but microUSB should be on the bottom anyway. No, because of this, it is stupid to refuse to buy a phone, but be prepared for some minor inconvenience.

Contents of delivery

Lenovo A6010 came to us in full retail package.

It lies in a light elongated box, where the desired smartphone is drawn.

It included a user manual, charger, USB cable and headset. The headset, by the way, has recently been removed from the package, including from Lenovo products. But they didn't do that with the A6010.

Case for Lenovo A6010

It is extremely easy to buy a cover for Lenovo A6010 - this is a popular device, and therefore there are plenty of accessories of this type. Moreover, theoretically, covers from the A6000 will suit it, since they have the same case.

This matte opaque case for Lenovo A6010 is available at a price of about 1,000 rubles.

For lovers not to hide back cover there is a completely silicone translucent cover somewhere for the same 1000 rubles.

Lenovo A6000 and A6010 are really popular models, since these painted covers have been released for them. It costs so little - 1,300 rubles. And on sale there are all sorts of covers in the form of cats and other animals at the same price.

There are also covers that cover both the front and back of the tube. It is not very expensive - 1300 rubles.

But this Lenovo A6010 case has a metal bumper on the sides and a polycarbonate back. It costs a little more than the others, but not much - 1,500 rubles.

This is not a complete list of available cases for the smartphone in question - you can find other interesting offers in stores.

Screen

Lenovo has long mastered the use of IPS-screens in its smartphones, including not the most expensive ones, so that the A6010 model received a corresponding mid-range matrix. The display is actually not bad, it will suit most - just right for the money.

The screen resolution is 1280x720 pixels, which, together with the 5 "diagonal, gives the output a pixel density of 294 ppi. Not very much by modern standards, but generally normal for this price category... The picture looks sharp, without jagging on the circular elements of the picture.

In principle, the display looks good, but exactly until the moment when it comes to difficult conditions. In particular, in the sun it fades and it becomes not so easy to use a smartphone. This is especially true for the camera - it is extremely uncomfortable to shoot, because you have to look closely at what is displayed on the screen.

But in general the color performance is not bad, although the picture looks a little "cold". But the viewing angles are wide and we are satisfied. But let's see what's with the objective measurements.

The maximum brightness reached 379.72 cd / m2, which is not very much, but not too little - just that "average case". Another thing is that the black color turned out to be not so deep - 0.45 cd / m 2. In general, we have seen such a value more than once and it is not very high. However, with the white brightness shown, the result is not very good. As a result, we got not the most high level contrast ratio 844: 1.

The color rendering of the Lenovo A6010 is really decent. The color gamut of its screen covers the entire sRGB space and even slightly surpasses it.

And here is the explanation of the "cold" picture - the color temperature is overstated by 1000-1700K relative to the optimal value of 6500K. And the excess just means that - colder colors: the higher the temperature, the colder it turns out.

The gamma curve looks very good - it almost merges with the 2.2 reference curve, that is, all the tints in the image are displayed with the correct brightness.

The screen recognizes up to five simultaneous touches. Not the maximum possible, but you probably won't need more.

The screen has few settings, you can only adjust the brightness and the time it takes to enter sleep mode.

In total, the Lenovo A6010 display is the most common, of which we have seen a great many. This is a typical mid-level IPS-matrix with a disturbed white balance, without a protective mineral glass, not the best behavior in the sun, but with good color rendering and viewing angles.

Camera

The Lenovo A6010 camera is the biggest misunderstanding. According to the official website of the company, the resolution of the main camera is 8 MP, and the front one is 2 MP. However, in our case, these values were respectively equal to 13 and 5 MP, that is, they correspond to the specifications of the A6010 Plus model. But not a single utility has written that we have exactly "Plus" and not "just" A6010. And on the body of the smartphone is written A6010. In general, something Lenovo has overdone.

Meanwhile, the application control offers an uncomplicated interface for shooting, and also provides several modes, including those associated with the imposition of some filters in real time.

The camera has a fair amount of settings related to making shooting easier and better. So there are many scene modes, you can set ISO sensitivity, white balance.

There is even a fine adjustment, including exposure metering.

The resolution of photos cannot be selected, only their aspect ratio. Someone may not like this, but if you figure it out, we are exactly between these two options and choose: maximum for 16: 9 or maximum with a ratio of 4: 3. In the latter case, the highest resolution is achieved. And you can also adjust the image quality, that is, the degree of JPEG compression.

The shooting quality is decent. It's not the best we have seen, but it still looks good, especially outside during the day. In more difficult conditions photographs are often washed out, but the color rendition does not suffer.

The video has several settings, including focus mode, clip length (up to 30 minutes) and shooting resolution. The maximum resolution is Full HD.

The video, in principle, looks normal - no worse than the level of photographs, that is, there are no serious complaints about it.

But the parameters are 5 MP front camera very scarce. Here you can only select the aspect ratio of the frames, as well as their mirror reflection.

The front camera shoots much worse, despite its "five-megapixel" claims. Megapixels are not at all a guarantee of quality and are needed for a completely different purpose. So it turns out that the front sensor takes blurry pictures, albeit with a normal color rendition - the best lens will not interfere with it.

The video resolution of the front camera is fixed at 1280x720 pixels, and its quality is not the highest. The video sequence is spoiled by the fact that the camera blurry frames.

In general, the main camera of the Lenovo A6010 suits us. In good lighting conditions, it takes decent pictures, and many do not need anything else. But the front camera noticeably washed the picture, which is not very good even for rare selfies.

We mentioned the confusion with the Lenovo A6010 modifications in the section on the camera, but it concerns not only cameras. The fact is that the official website of the manufacturer reports 1 GB random access memory and 8 GB of flash memory for the A6010, while for the A6010 Plus these values are respectively equal to 2 and 16 GB. And the funny thing is that according to other sources (catalogs of smartphones, stores), the A6010 offers 2 and 16 GB - 1 and 8 GB were in the A6000 and in exactly these two parameters smartphones differ.

So what are the real specifications of the Lenovo A6010? We are still inclined to trust the data in stores - they match, and if the buyer starts making a claim to whom, it is the seller. In total, it turns out that the A6010 has exactly the parameters shown in the table. And we, presumably, had the A6010 Plus, although the A6010 model is indicated on the box and on its body.

All versions of the smartphone (including the A6000) are powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor, which has four 64-bit Cortex-A53 cores running at 1.2 GHz. This is a very popular chipset, used extensively in 2015 products and will obviously remain so in 2016. It is a moderately productive mid-range solution. In principle, this is a very good option for inexpensive phones. As a video card, Adreno 306 is used - not the "latest" graphics accelerator, but it still supports OpenGL ES 3.0.

As you can see, our A6010 is designated exactly as "A6010" and has 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal flash memory. With such parameters, at a price close to the A6000, it turns out to be a good upgrade. Not in terms of performance, but usability.

The rest of the characteristics of the smartphone do not go beyond the usual. It, as the title of the review suggests, supports 4G connectivity - all Qualcomm processors are equipped with a corresponding modem. True, this is not the fastest option lTE standard - Category 4 provides the ability to receive data at speeds up to 150 Mbps.

And at the end of this section, a few words about why the table is adjacent to the A6010. It's very simple - it's a direct competitor. Samsung is a little more expensive, and it also has less memory (operational and flash), but the camera is much better (the front one is completely equipped with a flash), and he also has excellent autonomy... But let's take a look at which of them will be better in the tests.

Performance testing

In fact, the difference in performance between the Galaxy J5 and A6010, if it should be, is minimal - they use exactly the same processors. However, this is not always the case.

Here you go - in system-wide tests, in old and new, the A6010 won. The difference is far from devastating, but this cannot be attributed to the measurement error. Apparently, the effect is the different amount of RAM and different firmware of the devices.

Even in the SunSpider browser test, the Lenovo smartphone was slightly ahead, although here the dependence on numerous factors should be less.

As for the graphics, the simple Nenamark2 test basically showed the parity of the two pipes.

In a more serious 3DMark benchmark, the A6010 is again ahead, but its lead over the Galaxy J5 is quite small - it will definitely not be noticeable by eye.

Autonomy of Lenovo A6010, if, is slightly worse than that of Samsung. However, this is easy to explain - the latter has a more capacious battery, a less "gluttonous" Super AMOLED screen and better overall performance optimization, not in vain because the South Korean phone turned out to be slower in all tests.

In the AnTutu battery test, the difference is even twofold not in favor of the A6010. Autonomy lenovo smartphone is below average if these results are to be believed. So what's wrong with our technique? Let's take a look at the dynamics of battery discharge.

We have never seen this before: how is it - 5 out of 9 tests consume 0% of energy, and then a 2D game, the task of average "gluttony" immediately ate 15%? There is only one answer - the indication of charge consumption does not work correctly. The smartphone really for a long time is informed of a 100% charge, and then drops sharply to 75-80%. Our method is based on the remaining charge after completing all the tasks, while AnTutu runs all tests until the battery runs out to 19%, so in this case its sample is more representative.

Total for the autonomy of Lenovo A6010, two disappointing conclusions can be drawn: the indication of the battery charge is not always correct and the phone cannot boast of a long battery life. As for its performance, there are no complaints here - the device squeezes the maximum out of the processor.

Games for Lenovo A6010 shouldn't be too complicated. It may not have the fastest chipset and video card, but their power will still be enough to ensure comfortable gameplay.

 • Iron Man 3: excellent, the game does not slow down;

 • Dead target: excellent, the game does not slow down.

This is exactly what happened - nothing slows down on the Lenovo A6010. Some questions arose in N.O.V.A. games. 3 and Eternitu Warriors 4, but you can still play them, and these are completely new titles with good graphics, so there is nothing surprising in the easy "thoughtfulness" of a smartphone.

BY

Lenovo A6010 works under android 5.0, which at the beginning of 2016 does not look very modern. It is also strange that the budget A2010, which was released at about the same time, is made on Android 5.1. I don't even want to mention Android 6.0 for Lenovo A6010. In general, the fact of the presence of the fifth "robot" can already be written as a disadvantage - the time has come.

The Vibe UI shell is installed on top of the system, a version of it that does not separate the desktops and the list of all applications.

Applications are grouped on desktops as well as within folders. Their set expands the set of standard ones, and among them there are almost none that duplicate one or another functionality.

The notification panel has been redrawn, but the basic functionality has been retained from Android 5. In addition, quick options are available by pulling the panel down - as in the "original" Android. True, the list of these parameters significantly exceeds the one suggested by Google. Here, in particular, the option has been added to turn on the flashlight, go to sleep mode, turn off, lock the phone and so on.

The Task Manager has also been slightly redesigned, with the Task Manager and Clear All buttons added. Yes, this is the kind of butter. Inside another "dispatcher" is exactly the same list of applications, with the only difference that the current running programs are displayed here, and not all previously open ones. There is also a little more information here: how much memory is occupied. And you can stop the application from the "classic" list.

Desktops have some settings like grid size, wallpaper scrolling, and so on. There is also a "Theme Center" where you can choose ... yes, design themes.

Of the preinstalled applications of interest are such as Security, which means "security". Here you can optimize the operation of your smartphone, fill in the blacklist of subscribers, deal with data transmission over the cellular network.

Another interesting section of the application is "Permissions Management" for applications. Here you can restrict the latter's access to various device modules: calls, cameras, GPS, contacts, and so on. That is, this is the same feature that was added by default in Android 6.

Dolby Atmos is used to control the audio capabilities. Here you can set different sound profiles, or customize it yourself.

Lenovo Companion is designed to solve problems with the phone, in other words, there are links to forums and a page of those lenovo support.

SHAREit is for sharing files between devices. You can quickly transfer them to your computer, smartphone or tablet.

SYNCit is used to back up your data such as contacts, SMS messages and call history.

There is also file manager with basic functionality.

There are no special settings in the phone. Even in the area of energy consumption, everything is typical, at least here it would not hurt to come up with something.

In general, working with Lenovo A6010 is convenient. Its software does not slow down, the animation is smooth and without delays. The interface as a whole is intuitive and there is no discomfort.

Output

Lenovo A6010 is a good smartphone in principle, but it has a couple of noticeable drawbacks, but first, let's say a few words about what we liked about it. First of all, it is a small thickness and weight, which, albeit not at the level of flagships, are really small in this price segment. Then many will appreciate the good amount of RAM and flash memory - 2 and 16 GB, respectively. Some people will like the two loud speakers, which are difficult to cover with your fingers in a horizontal orientation.

But the disadvantages also cannot be ruled out, and the most noticeable of them is poor autonomy. The smartphone does not have the most capacious 2300 mAh battery by modern standards, which, moreover, quickly drops due to the lack of normal optimization of work. And at the same time, the charge indicator showed its level not always correctly. Perhaps this is a feature of our test copy, and we also do not exclude that this was fixed in the firmware update, but nevertheless.

Also, questions are raised about the confusion with the characteristics of the device. Lenovo's website says one thing, stores say something else, and app data and smartphone labels say something else. We mean that, according to data from the Internet, we had the A6010 Plus, but if you believe the markings on the case and information utilities, we have a "regular" A6010.

In short, something Lenovo has overdone with this smartphone. Let's see how much money is asked for it.

Lenovo A6010 Price

You can buy Lenovo A6010 for 12-13 thousand rubles, which, in general, is not very much for its characteristics. If only it weren't for autonomy ...

Samsung Galaxy J5 against the background of Lenovo A6010 may not look so confident at first, which is understandable: the price is slightly higher, the same processor, less memory. However, the autonomy of this tube is much better, as well as its cameras shoot very well. In addition, there is pre-installed Android 5.1, there is a Super AMOLED screen and there is no leapfrog with models.

An interesting alternative looks like ASUS Zenfone 2 Laser, where the emphasis is on laser autofocus and camera quality. Such a smartphone costs about 13-14 thousand and offers the same characteristics: 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB of flash memory, an IPS-screen with a resolution of 1280x720 pixels, a 2400 mAh battery and a Snapdragon 410 processor.Android is also not the freshest here - 5.0 ...

The LG G4c is a markedly simplified version of the flagship G4. It costs not so much - about 14 thousand, but the characteristics do not look very competitive compared to the Lenovo A6010. So the phone has only 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of flash memory, the main camera has a resolution of 8 MP, but at least the battery is more capacious - 2540 mAh. The processor is the same - Snapdragon 410.

Pros:

 • high-quality assembly;
 • large amount of RAM and flash memory for its class;
 • low weight for its size and class;
 • two loud speakers in the back;
 • support sound technology Dolby Atmos;
 • not bad IPS-screen for its class.

Minuses:

 • microUSB connector is inconveniently located;
 • the screen fades in the sun;
 • few front camera settings;
 • confusion with the characteristics of the A6010 smartphone modifications;
 • not the best autonomy;
 • incorrect indication of battery consumption;
 • pre-installed Android 5.0 with unclear update prospects.
