Unlocking your phone with a mi band 2. Unlocking your phone using Xiaomi Mi Band. Activate and switch the display with a gesture

Few people know, but any version of the Mi Band bracelet makes it very easy to unlock your Android device if you have a security code installed. Yes, now many phones have a fingerprint scanner, thanks to which you do not need to constantly enter a password, but sometimes there are times when it would be convenient if the code was not requested at all. For example, when you click on the notification that appears on the phone screen, to see it, you need to enter the password and put your finger on the scanner.

But for owners of phones without a fingerprint scanner, this manual will be even more useful. note - this way unlock works only on Xiaomi phones!

How screen unlocking works with Mi Band

Android smartphones have long been able to disable the screen lock if at that moment some device is connected via Bluetooth, which is included in the trusted list. This, for example, can be a headset or a radio tape recorder in a car. This is convenient, but not very secure. Anyone within the Bluetooth signal range can unlock your smartphone, even if you are not nearby.

Unlocking via Mi Band works a little differently. The signal strength from your bracelet is monitored and unlocking occurs only if two devices are in close proximity (approximately 15-20 cm). That is, in order for the smartphone to turn off the lock, it must be held in the hand on which the Mi Band is wearing. Even taking the phone in the other hand, you will need to enter a password or put your finger on the scanner.

Everything is very simple. You need to go to the Mi Fit application, select the "Profile" tab, click on your connected bracelet and activate the "Screen Unlock" item:

After activating this function, the status bar of your phone will show new icon, it will show when the bracelet is in close proximity:

But, paying attention to it is completely optional.

If you have any questions, you can ask them in the comments, we will be happy to help you!

Fitness tracker MI Band 2 is rightfully considered one of the best devices in your niche. It has it all: wide functionality in a small, stylish and lightweight device that fits on your wrist. Fitness bracelet can:

  • count the number of steps taken and distance;
  • calculate the calories burned;
  • show notifications from your smartphone on your screen;
  • notify about long time without activity;
  • display time and date;
  • monitor the pulse;
  • count the average activity;
  • unlock your smartphone without a password or fingerprint sensor.

But before you start using such a multifunctional gadget, it is worth setting up MI Band 2.

Switching on and off

An ordinary user may have a very reasonable question: how to carry out the first launch of the device? In order for MI Band 2 to turn on, you just need to charge it using the included charger. After that, it will start on its own. Xiaomi did not place on and off buttons on the body of their fitness tracker. This means that Bluetooth on MI Band 2 also starts working from the very start of the device - it does not need to be additionally turned on anywhere.

The tracker is turned off in the opposite way to turning it on: MI Band 2 must be discharged. The principle is quite simple: if you want to turn on the device, charge it, and if you need to turn it off, discharge the gadget. True, this will not be easy.

App for iOS and Android

The full potential of a sports tracker from Xiaomi is revealed when it is paired with a smartphone that runs on Android and iOS operating systems. To do this, you need to install the MI Fit proprietary application on your phone. Owners of devices based on an operating system from google have several options of where they can download this utility from,

In any case, you will get almost the same application. It is important to note that in latest updates the company from the Middle Kingdom added Russian localization to the utility.

But the owners of smartphones from Apple have no choice. The only way to download the official MI Band 2 app is through the AppStore. Install MI Fit from there and proceed to setting up the Xiaomi MI Band 2 fitness bracelet.

To connect MI Band 2 to your smartphone, regardless of whether it runs on iOS or Android, you must turn on bluetooth phone and go to the MI Fit app. From there, you can find the MI Band 2 bracelet and connect to it. But be careful: the smartphone must have a module Bluetooth version not lower than 4.0 - the fitness tracker from Xiaomi will not work with older versions. If the connection fails, try again.

Time setting

The manufacturer has tried to simplify the setup of the Xiaomi MI Band 2 in all aspects. But many users who have just recently purchased a device are wondering how to set the time on MI Band 2. The time and date on the fitness tracker are fully consistent with the indicators that are set on the paired smartphone. In order to expose right time on the device, synchronize the time on your phone using the Internet.

Accordingly, if you need to change the time displayed by the MI Band 2 sports tracker, edit this indicator on your smartphone. If it gets lost, also return to your phone settings.

Setting the alarm

An amazing feature of MI Band 2: the standard set of functions offers the user a huge number of various possibilities, up to determining the phase of sleep. But for some reason Xiaomi could not equip its fitness tracker with a smart alarm clock. However, the device is equipped with a regular alarm clock, and its smart version, if desired, can be set with Play Market’A or App Store.

The alarm clock built into the MI Band 2 is set in the same place as all other functions of the sports bracelet: in the MI Fit app. To set the time at which you need to wake up (you can set up to 10 alarms), go to the "Profile" tab, select your MI Band, there you will find the "Alarm" section. Each of the preset alarms shows the time after which it will "play".

Additionally, you can configure the alarm clock periods: it can be activated once, every day or on user-defined days of the week. In addition, you can turn on the snooze mode, which will repeat the same alarm at intervals of 10 minutes. To disable it, you need to hold down the touch button under the device's screen and wait for the deactivation notification on the screen.

Display information

The following information can be displayed on the display of the Xiaomi MI Band 2 if the parameters mentioned below are enabled in the MI Fit settings. This is done in the "Profile" menu, the "Information display" tab.

  • time;
  • system alerts;
  • steps;
  • distance traveled;
  • calories;
  • pulse;
  • remaining charge.

Incoming calls and smart unlocking

MI Band 2 is able to respond to gestures. So, with a characteristic raise of the hand, you can activate the screen on which the time will be displayed. Turning your wrist changes the information shown on the display. These smartband features are also enabled in the Profile tab. Note that Wrist Swing can only be enabled if Wrist Raise is activated.

Xiaomi MI Band 2 knows how to notify its owner about calls that come to his smartphone. During a call, the fitness bracelet vibrates, and it can display information about the contact who is calling you. Notifications are configured in the Notifications menu. There the user is given the opportunity to configure notifications from applications, enable additional functions of the Calls item. These include Delay Notifications and Show Contact Information.

There you can also activate the “Notification of inactivity” function, which will remind you of a low activity level in the time interval you specify. In addition, the "More" tab also contains several fun features. So, these are message notifications (vibration), "Statistics" - notification of the achieved goal (for example, the number of steps per day set by the user has been passed), do not disturb mode, vibration when the connection with the smartphone is lost.

Increased run time

The bracelet lasts about 20 days from one full battery charge - this is an impressive figure, especially against the background of competitors. Nevertheless, if this autonomy is not enough, it can be increased by turning off several "gluttonous" functions for the battery in the MI Fit settings.

  • constant synchronization with a smartphone via Bluetooth. Disable if you are satisfied with the synchronization of Mi Band 2 with a smartphone every few days;
  • Heart Rate Sleep Assistant. A function that monitors sleep quality based on heart rate. Disabling it, you can count on an increase of 3-5 days of work.

Sports functions

Fitness tracker Xiaomi MI Band 2 is able to diversify your training process. A calorie calculator, a pedometer, a heart rate sensor, a distance traveled and sleep quality control, running in the required heart rate zone, as well as a built-in "sports motivator" will help with this. These are statistics thanks to which you can see what percentage of people around the world you have surpassed in activity today.

Protecting data on a smartphone is one of the most important features. In the popular operating room android system have long come up with several ways: unlocking with pattern key, fingerprint or password (PIN code). Today we will talk about how to set up smart phone unlocking using Mi band 3.

The technology of the phone-bracelet combination is simple: the fitness tracker is a kind of “unlocking key”. At the moment of pressing the power button on the smartphone, Blueooth search is performed smart watch... If they are within the Bluetooth range, the phone will automatically unlock without entering a password and scanning a fingerprint. Smart locking has one serious drawback: for the functionality to work, a constant connection between the phone and Mi band 3 is required.

Step by step setup

In order to enable smart lock and unlock the screen using the fitness tracker, you need to perform several simple steps (on the example of a Xiaomi phone):

To set the distance for unlocking the phone, you need to select the appropriate item.

At later android versions you need to execute the instruction a little differently:

  1. Enable screen protection in the smartphone settings.
  2. Turn on tracker visibility in Mi fit.
  3. Connect the device via standard Bluetooth pairing.
  4. Return to phone security settings.
  5. Click on Smart Lock, then "Trusted device" and "Add".
  6. Select the previously linked Mi band 3.

Important! If everything goes well, the bracelet icon will appear on the smartphone screen (with and without a check mark).

On different phones

There is information that you can set up smart unlocking on xiaomi devices, but with other smartphones there may be problems. Samsung, Huawei, Meiuzu, Honor on Android 5.0+ must support the above functionality, but the setting must be done via Smart Lock (method 2).

As for Flyme OS, an Android-based shell developed by Meizu, users often write about the problems of setting up unlocking via Mi band. On the 5th version of the OS everything seemed to work correctly, but in the 6th version everything is not so simple.

How to disable?

Disabling unlock is easier than enabling it. This requires only:

  1. Go to Mi band 3 settings in Mi Fit and turn off smart unlock.
  2. You may also need to remove the bracelet from the list of trusted devices in the Smart Lock phone protection option and disable unlocking via Bluetooth.

iPhone

On the "apple" operating system setting up unlocking through a watch from Xiaomi will not work. On the new iPhone models, you can protect important data using FaceID technology - the display is unlocked after reading the owner's face shape.

Apparently, Xiaomi has decided to update its fitness devices every six months. Each of them makes a splash, and each time the company only increases its sales. Last year, the Mi Band became the top-selling smart fitness accessory. We wrote about and about. It was the turn to tell my impressions of the second generation device - Mi Band 2.

  • Weight: 7 g.
  • Compatibility: iOS 7 / Android 4.3.
  • Delivery set: module, bracelet, charging cable.

The novelty differs from other Xiaomi fitness bracelets by the presence of an OLED screen and touch button... The bracelet consists of two parts - a plastic capsule and a strap. The module has become larger. The weight has also increased, although this is not felt. The basic functionality, not related to the screen, has practically not changed, as well as the requirements for a smartphone with which the device will work in a duet.

Appearance and delivery set

The traditional cardboard box for the line contains the Mi Band 2 module, a bracelet, instructions in Chinese and charger.

The main module has undergone significant changes. The top panel is now occupied by an OLED display and a touch-sensitive button. The image on the screen due to the matrix used is perfectly readable in the sun and does not dazzle in the dark. Most of the time, the display is dark and turns on only when necessary: \u200b\u200bwhen you press a button, when you receive an alert, or when you need to look at your watch (read below how to do this without touching the device). The button is capacitive, does not respond to third-party objects. The entire panel is now flat.

In addition to the appearance of the screen and the button embedded in it, there are other external changes. So, Xiaomi Mi Band 2 uses a new heart rate monitor - this can be seen on closer inspection. There is less light from the sensors, the LEDs are located differently. But most importantly, now the heart rate monitor window is located in the fairing, which rises almost 1.5 mm above the module.

The strap has also changed. It now adjusts between 155-210 mm and has a total length of 235 mm. The module of the first version was inserted from the outside and periodically dropped out. In the new design, the functional capsule can only be inserted from the inside (hand side). In addition, the capsule does not protrude, on the contrary, the edges of the recess in the bracelet rise above it, protecting the screen. This corrects two of the most serious design flaws - down with scratches and losses!

Since the updated device is much larger than the first model, certain problems appear during use. For example, a child cannot wear it. On a miniature female hand, the Mi Band 2 bracelet looks bulky and can be large.

Due to the increased dimensions, the device can often touch something. Only a durable bracelet saves.

Following the changed dimensions of the capsule, the charger has also changed. It has become deeper and wider, the charging pins have become longer. An old charger will not work. It is more realistic to install Mi Band 1 or 1s into the slot for the second model, but only using some kind of gaskets to ensure contact between the charging contacts and the module.

Functionality

Unlike previous versions, the novelty is able to work in offline or through the app. At the same time, the general set of functions has practically not changed.

The bracelet still knows how to track activity, heart rate, count calories, steps, distance, and also track sleep phases. The pedometer of the novelty is improved and, according to the manufacturer, more accurate. The difference between the readings of Mi Band 1s and Mi Band 2 reaches 10-15%. The device no longer responds to simple waves of the hand.

Since the update has also affected the heart rate monitor, you can expect an increase in accuracy here too. The testing error did not exceed 5%.

Alerts work in the same way, but their set depends on the application used. With incoming calls and SMS, the bracelet vibrates. When the application is alerted, a double vibration occurs and the App icon is displayed.

Like previous modelsThe Xiaomi Mi Band 2 can unlock its associated smartphone via Bluetooth if both devices are within range of the interface. In fact, unlocking works at distances not exceeding 5 m.

The bracelet is capable of operating in difficult temperature conditions from +70 to −20 ° C. In case of hypothermia, time autonomous work will be reduced to 128 hours. Xiaomi Mi Band 2 is able to withstand a drop on a hard surface from a height of 1.2 m.

Offline mode: screen and gesture capabilities

The Mi Band 2 displays the most significant information on the screen: time, number of steps taken, heart rate. A touch button is used for display. The first click on it turns on the clock. On the second press, the gadget shows the number of steps. On the third, a heart is displayed on the screen and the heart rate measurement starts or its value is shown if the heart rate has changed during the last minute. If you do not tap on the button after the measurement has been taken and wait for the screen to turn off, then the first time you touch the button, the heart rate value will be displayed instead of the time. The same will happen with the step statistics.

All data is updated using built-in sensors. The device only needs to sync with a smartphone if the battery is depleted. If you charge Mi Band 2 on time, the smartphone and the application can be used very rarely and only to view statistics.

The function of displaying time is very conveniently implemented. To recognize it, just turn your hand sharply - the screen wakes up and shows the time, regardless of the last type of data viewed. This works even when typing on the keyboard when the hand is on the table. It is not required to tear it off the surface, it always works.

Applications and compatibility

As before, the functionality of the device depends on the selected application. Pedometer, distance traveled, sleep tracking and detailed statistics are available in versions of the program for any device and market.

The iOS app has not been tested. But with the versions for Android, things are not the best. Now the official app is in Google play works with any Mi Band, smart scales and two types of sneakers, just like the Chinese app. There is also a smartphone unlocking with a bracelet. When it is nearby and connected to the phone via Bluetooth, no password is required. However, there is no running function in it, but there is synchronization with MyFitnessPal and Google Fit.

The official Chinese version of the application, which is distributed through the MIUI OS branded store, cannot sync with other applications. But there is a running mode that activates special button, and voice assistant for the running mode (in the amateur assembly it is translated). And, according to some reports, it is possible to build a walking or jogging track (this point has not been verified).

All official apps allow you to set up notifications (for Android 4.4 and higher and iOS) about incoming calls and notifications from three applications to choose from. When a call is made, the device vibrates twice, pauses and continues the cycle while the call is in progress (by the way, you can adjust the delay from the start of the call so as not to experience unnecessary discomfort).

The new Mi Fit app can vibrate to remind the user to move during the day.

Unfortunately, starting with Mi Fit 2.0, the smart alarm clock disappeared in the application. Even if it does appear, it still does not work. Therefore, if this feature is important to you, it is better to use previous versions or amateur assemblies.

There are also for working with Mi Band. Each of them has its pros and cons, try them in practice and choose the most suitable one.

Autonomy

Despite the fact that the bracelet came in a whole plastic package, the battery was charged. According to the app, the gadget was charged 29 days ago. With the screen off, it lasted 29 days.

During two days of active testing (3-5 synchronizations, up to 20 heart rate measurements, an attempt to freeze, frequent switching on of the screen, work as a clock), the battery level dropped to 16%. If you exercise often enough and wear Mi Band 2 like a watch, the battery will last for 12-15 days (with the function of more accurate sleep tracking enabled, in which frequent heart rate measurements are taken). With less active use, the device can work for 20-30 days.

Testing in aggressive conditions

Despite the manufacturer's declared protection against water and dust according to the IP67 standard, users quite often complained about the Mi Band 1 and 1s due to leaks. The test specimen survived hot and cold showers and even attempts to drown it under a direct stream of water for an hour. However, it was revealed that the first touch of the hot water jet activates the button. If the flow is not interrupted due to movement or shutdown of the water, there will be no repeated activations.

The button also works for a bracelet frozen to -18 ° C. Moreover, both after removing from the freezer, and right in it. Reacts to cold and wet fingers.

Outcome

All Mi Band users agreed that the device needs a screen. Xiaomi engineers did exactly what was asked of them. Now Mi Band is not an eye-catching bracelet that turns into a fitness gadget if necessary. To take or not to take? Be sure to take.

Now the cost of Xiaomi Mi Band 2 (where it really is available) reaches $ 60. The phenomenon is temporary, designed for fans who want to get the long-awaited gadget as soon as possible. During the summer, its value will certainly decline.

Recall that the official sales of the new Mi Band started on June 30. A couple of weeks after this, the devices will appear in the warehouses of stores available to the Russian buyer.

Let's immediately start figuring out how to set up Xiaomi Mi Band 2 without further ado, and at the same time we'll talk about the bracelet itself. For a year now I have been using the second generation Xiaomi bracelet every day, and in order to write on it detailed instructions hands reached only now.

Xiaomi Mi Band 2 - instructions for connecting and setting up a fitness watch

Before that, I had a Xiaomi Mi Band of the first version, but I quickly abandoned it. The reason is trivial - it was not very convenient to use it without a screen. It was just a stupid fitness tracker, all information from which could only be viewed through mobile app - not convenient. Here we have a display, which means that the main data will be displayed on it - hours, steps, calories, notifications.

The bracelet design, among other things, includes a button. What is it for? With a single press, it turns on the screen, with subsequent clicks, it switches other functions that we can configure in the application.

Among other things, Mi Band 2 is protected according to the IP67 standard, protected from water and moisture, and from shock. On the first day, as soon as I unpacked it, as soon as I tried to put it on, it fell 2 times in a row. At the same time, the screen was not scratched to all. Regarding the screen coverage, I have not been able to find out whether it is glass or plastic, so I will, most likely, lean towards plastic.

How to connect Xiaomi Mi Band 2 to the phone?

Before you sync the fitness tracker with your smartphone, you need to charge it properly, although when you just take it out of the box, it will most likely have some percentage of the battery on it - it sits down very slowly. The charging is original and the only drawback is that it is inconvenient to take the bracelet out of the strap every time and then insert it back - it's good that you don't have to do this so often.

To connect the Xiaomi Mi Band 2 bracelet to the phone, on the latter you need to activate Bluetooth - this is exactly the type wireless pairing is configured. Fortunately, I have a smartphone from the same company, Xiaomi Redmi 4X, so no problems should arise.

Next, you need to install the Mi Fit program from the Google Play Market repository - it is free and freely available. After launch, create account in Xiаomi, or we use an existing account on Google or Facebook - those who use an Android phone, anyway, have mail on Google, so there are no difficulties here.

Select the type of device - "Bracelet"

We accept the terms of use, which states that information about your sleep and heart rate will be collected and stored

To connect, press the function button on the tracker

After successful synchronization, we set up unlocking the phone with a bracelet - there is such convenient function, in which if you are connected to the phone with Xiaomi Mi Band 2 and are in the reception area, then the screen will unlock automatically without any action on your part - without entering a password or fingerprint.

Since I have done this before, the unlock recovery function is displayed for me - during the initial setup of the Xiaomi Mi Band 2, the function of connecting from scratch will be displayed.

To enable it, we type the password from the phone

Press the button on the tracker again

And voila - bracelet Xiaomi Mi Band 2 is connected to the phone.

It remains only to adjust the distance at which the phone unlocking via Xiaomi Mi Band 2 will be triggered

Three gradations are available:

  • close
  • nearby
  • long away

By the way, immediately after connecting, Xiaomi Mi Band 2 automatically requested an over-the-air update from the server and installed the latest version of the firmware.

Setting up a fitness bracelet Xiaomi Mi Band 2

Let's move on to the process of setting up the Xiaomi Mi Band 2. On home page the Mi Fit app displays a summary of its use. For the initial configuration, we need to adjust our physical data in order for the bracelet to correctly count distance and calories. To do this, go to the "Profile" section in the bottom menu

and click on the edit icon in the right upper corner

Here you can configure the profile for Xiaomi Mi Band 2 in detail:

  • Date of birth

All this is necessary so that the bracelet calculates steps as accurately as possible and measures the heart rate data with your age.

How to set up Xiaomi Mi Band 2 to send notifications?

Now let's move on to what is most interesting for me personally - setting up alerts. To be honest, I do not really use the fitness tracker functions, but I really like the bracelet as a watch, alarm clock and various reminders. To enter the settings, click on the link Mi Band 2 in the same section "Profile"

We already have unlocking, so let's go straight to the second point.

Incoming call

By activating the alert for incoming calls, the bracelet will vibrate when the phone receives a call. But for those numbers that are not in the contact list, you can disable it separately. It is also possible to delay the notification - so that the bracelet does not distract once again if the phone is lying next to you and you see this call and are ready to answer it immediately.

Alarm clock

A very handy feature that I use all the time. Its main feature is that you can put the bracelet on your hand at night, and at the appointed hour in the early morning it will vibrate, without waking up everyone around you with a sound signal, as is the case with the phone.

To set your own alarm, click on the "Add" button and set the time, days of activation and turn on the snooze mode - to repeat the vibration every 10 minutes if you turned it off. Turning off occurs by pressing the function key on the Xiaomi Mi Band 2 fitness bracelet.

Alerts

In this section, we select applications from which notifications will be displayed on the fitness bracelet screen. First you need to turn them on with the toggle switch, and also, if you wish, activate their receipt only when the smartphone screen is off.

To add new programs from which we want messages to come, click on the "Manage applications" button and mark the necessary checkboxes

After that, the corresponding icons will be displayed on the screen of the Xiaomi Mi Band 2 bracelet.

Unfortunately, the manufacturer has not yet solved the problem when the notification is displayed on the screen for only a few seconds and is not stored in memory - if you did not have time to look at it right away, you can only guess what exactly happened - in order to see which one. the application has received a notification, you need to get the phone.

Don't mess around

An interesting function that is designed to ensure that you do not constantly sit at the computer, but at least occasionally get up and stretch your body. Here you can set the start and end times for the mode, and there is also a separate Do Not Disturb setting so that the bracelet does not distract you in those hours when you really do not need to be physically active. At the same time, you can configure the Xiaomi Mi Band so that it vibrates every 30, 60, 90 or 120 minutes while you are not active, and reminds you to do, for example, charging if you are not driving very well active image life.

To display additional settings for the Xiaomi Mi Band 2 bracelet, click on the "More" link

Incoming SMS

Here, I think everything is clear - notifications about incoming sms messages

Vibrate when the alarm rings

This xiaomi setting Mi Band 2 differs from the main alarm clock - here we can activate vibration when the alarm goes off on the phone itself, without being tied to the same function of the bracelet, which is autonomous.

Goal notification

Vibration is turned on here when the fitness goal set in the app is reached. As I said, I am not very interested in this topic, but I will briefly tell about it below.

Do not disturb mode

Well, this mode sets the time when the Mi Band bracelet will not bother you for any reason, for example, during a night's sleep. You can enable this feature separately to view on-screen information about raising your wrist.

Xioami Mi Band 2 advanced time and screen settings

We return to the previous page called "Mi Band" and scroll down after setting up alerts. There is a bracelet search function - if you have lost it, then by clicking on the link it will vibrate.

Visibility - enables Mi Band to be found by other devices

Bracelet location - setting on which arm you will wear the fitness tracker. Apparently, this also affects the results of statistics.

Screen settings - here we choose which elements will be displayed on the screen

  • Time
  • Distance
  • Calories
  • Pulse
  • Battery

Switching between them occurs when you touch the touch button on the case.

Time format - setting the display of the clock on the screen. There are two options - either with or without date.

Here you can also turn on the functions of triggering by hand movement - to view information and to switch. For example, you are sitting, doing something, walking, you want to see the time - you can press a button on the display and see the time, or make a simple movement with your hand - bring it to your face.

There is also automatic heart rate tracking during sleep.

Fitness tracker settings Xiaomi Mi Band 2

As promised, at the end he left the functionality that allows you to use the Xiaomi Mi Band 2 bracelet as a fitness tracker.

In the Profile menu, we can set ourselves goals for daily distance and weight loss by calculating how many calories are burned by our activity.

Well, the goal for losing or gaining weight

How exactly he calculates calories, I honestly do not know for sure, but most likely based on your geometric data. First, you have already entered your data: height, weight, age and gender, as well as the hand on which you wear this same Mi Band. After that, he calculates your activity, most likely, somehow, on average, calculates the length of the stride, and on the basis of this, the distance traveled and calories burned.

If we scroll down, we will find another function - setting behavior labels

Here we can select one or another type of activity and configure the bracelet to track your movements, which you will do while doing it. After which they are deposited in his memory.

For example, you start cycling or playing badminton, the tracker will automatically recognize this sport and then you will get a free table of what and how much you did in a day and how you moved.

To create a profile of these activities, select the one you need, click on the "Start" button and start doing it.

When you stop training, click on "Pause" and finish.
Separately, you can track detailed statistics on the acceleration of movement during exercise and heart rate

You can also activate tracking of your activity mode manually. To do this, switch to the "Activity" tab in the main menu and select

  • Outdoor jogging
  • Treadmill
  • Bike ride
  • Walking

To start tracking, click on the corresponding button in the application.

If you go to the settings (the "gear" icon in the upper right corner), then here you can set automatic pause when you stop performing the exercise and activate a warning about high frequency pulse.

You can also select a card to record your movement track into memory.

Among other things, Mi Band 2 can work without an application, it is an absolutely self-sufficient device and it does not matter to it whether you have a permanent connection with a smartphone or not, it can independently count your steps, calories, count your heart rate, distance traveled and show constantly time. Moreover, he has some inner memory, and, if I'm not mistaken, about 3 days. So if you need to constantly know your activity and keep track of accurate statistics, then every 3-4 days you will need to connect to your phone and sync all your data. But if accurate statistics are not needed, then you can do without the application.

In general, what can I summarize? The Xiaomi Mi Band 2 fitness bracelet for me is really love at first sight - I can't imagine my life now without it. Many people write that you can't see anything in the sun, when you bring the screen to your nose - I don't know, I can see everything perfectly ...
